Katsushige Anryu has been a blacksmith for over 50 years. He apprenticed under his father. He is incredibly meticulous. We love his shapes. His knives are incredibly thin, great taper, and awesome finishes.
Now made by nephew Takumi Ikeda. He has been studying under Anryu-San for the past 10 years in order to take over the business.
